Laurie Barker is 29, single, and dreams of being a published author. I assume the author intends to hook readers in by setting up the story piece by piece in this serial/novella project. The author did begin the setting of the stage, and the introduction of characters, and it was fun. The main problem with this idea is that episode 2 is not available. Unfortunately, I might have forgotten about the serial by the time #2 is released, and this will defeat the purpose of the idea. I'd recommend having a number of episodes ready to go, so the reader can immediately go and click/buy on the next one.Product details

I enjoyed Virtually Ideal episode 1, it often had me giggling, especially the descriptions of online dating (so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way!), as well as the descriptions of Melbourne's coffee scene. A quick, fun read. I'm looking forward to episode 2.
Cute story written from the point of view of a slightly desperate, single, woman who is too intelligent to totally succumb to the desperation. Good writing, and a fun quick read.
Virtually Ideal was witty and humorous. It reminded me of Bridget Jones's Diary. I can't wait to see what happens next in the life of Laurie Barker. She was a hoot! I loved her thoughts so much that I started to think of her as a friend. This is definitely going to be a great serial.
